scott chapman

brand coach, managing partner

Demonstrating an early passion for coaching, Scott Chapman spent his senior years at Laurier University as a Teaching Assistant for first year business students.

After graduating with honors and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Scott launched into his career with an enthusiasm for all things Branding and marketing. Scott joined Procter & Gamble — the company credited for inventing "Brand management" and the "soap opera" — and in 3 short years became the Business Manager leading the strategy and marketing for billion-dollar Brands including Bounty and Tide – working across Canada and the United States.

In an effort to expand and diversify his skills, Scott left P&G and immediately joined PepsiCo, succeeding to the role of Beverages Marketing Manager, FoodService. In less than a year with PepsiCo, Scott was leading the development of operating plans and Brand management for over 15 different PepsiCo beverage Brands in the highly competitive food service industry. He put his management expertise to use developing plans for some of PepsiCo’s most illustrious customers, including Tim Hortons, Pizza Hut, Boston Pizza and Swiss Chalet.

Passionate leadership, strategic execution, and a sincere belief that Brands are built from the inside out enable Scott to excel as Instinct’s Managing Partner and Brand Coach. Since joining Instinct, Scott has worked with clients across a wide array of industries, including Architecture, Financial Services, Resource Mining, Health Care, HR Consulting, Property Management, Software and Hospitality.

When Scott is not Brand Coaching, he can be found building on his love for travel, golf adventures, family, and his girlfriend Sara.
