Jay and Ted have known each other for over twenty years. They became friends when their respective marketing services firms worked collaboratively on some common clients. Ted and Jay were also both active in the Young Presidents’ and World Presidents’ Organization (YPO/WPO) together for many years.

Jay and Ted have been partners in Instinct since 2004. As Instinct’s Business Coach, Jay helps to guide its growth strategy and business development plans.

Jay is active on several boards, while continuing to provide coaching and mentoring to entrepreneurial organizations.

Jay was CEO, Sales Services North America division, and a Member of the Board of Directors of Mosaic Group Inc, a publicly held international sales and marketing services agency that traded on the TSX from 1996–2001. Jay was President of Sales & Merchandising Group (S&MG), a privately held sales services agency, from 1988–1996, which merged with Mosaic Group. S&MG provided contract selling, merchandising and field marketing services to major multinational consumer products companies. Prior to that Jay held various senior sales management positions during an extensive 14-year career with Procter & Gamble in Canada.

Jay and his wife Joanne have residences in Kelowna, BC and Phoenix, AZ. Jay spends his spare time pursuing his two favorite hobbies of golfing and flying.
